Reptile Systems Ceramic Heat Emitter (CHE) is ideal for creating necessary warm areas in terrariums, vivariums, paludariums, tanks, and cage enclosures. Each heat lamp bulb has a 10,000+ hour lifetime use that provides constant, 24-hour warmth to lizards, turtles, frogs, turtles, snakes, desert animals, exotic mammals, and baby chicks.

Our Ceramic Heat Emitter produces nearly all its energy as far infrared where the heated element radiates to the ceramic through contact conduction, which then releases energy heating the surrounding air. This helps to regulate habitat temperature, especially when used in combination with a thermostat. Consistently maintaining the environment’s ambient temperature helps to promote overall health and well-being, digestion, and activity levels. Our ceramic heat lamp produces no visible light, UVA, or UVB rays and enables night observation of the animals without disrupting the 24-hour cycle.

Always ensure that Reptile Systems Ceramic Heat Emitter is used in conjunction with a suitable ceramic holder, clamp lamp, or rotating ceramic holder to protect the bulb from damage and water, such as our Reptile Systems Black Clamp Lamp.
