The Reptile Systems Mercury Vapor D3 UV Basking Lamp is a high-output combi lamp for terrariums, vivariums, vision cages, and reptile/amphibian enclosures. Our full spectrum, fluorescent thermal controller bulb produces UVA/UVB ultraviolet rays, visible light, and infrared heat energy that aid animal development and health, while providing excellent color rendering to promote and enhance iridescence.

Mercury Vapor D3 UV Basking Lamp (E26 bulb) is available in four lighting wattages :

70W – ideal for small sized enclosures80W – ideal for medium sized enclosures100W – ideal for large enclosures or open tables125W – ideal for extra large enclosures or open tables

Each lamp can provide the Ferguson Zone 1 2 3 & 4 for your animal, it’s all dependent on the basking height from the lamp to your animal. Always read the chart on the box to get the correct distance for UV to your animal.

The Mercury Vapor D3 UV Basking Lamp is perfect for heating, lighting, and providing nourishment to reptiles and amphibians, such as lizards, snakes, frogs, turtles, tortoises, geckos, bearded dragons, anoles, iguanas, and chameleons. UVA and UVB rays aid reptiles’ development and health by aiding feeding, breeding behaviors, vision, Vitamin D3 synthesis, and calcium metabolization, which enables calcium to be absorbed to promote strong bones.

This mercury vapor basking Lamp is designed to be mounted vertically overhead in a ceramic holder and provides a 35-degree beam angle for a wide basking area. Each E26 bulb is energy efficient with 6,000-hour life expectancy, and has a high-quality, reliable self-ballasted design (no external ballast required) to provide the correct level of UVA and UVB for small-, medium-, and large-sized enclosures.
