Use a high quality fixture with a ceramic socket to ensure that heat does not damage the fixture. Cheap plastic fixtures can melt from the heat.

Designed specifically for USA outlets and voltage – This projector is for ceramic fixtures only. It is recommended to use this with a dimming thermostat for dual heat projectors. A dimming thermostat will constantly monitor the temperature and adjust the power output to make sure that your reptile is always enjoying an optimal heat level.
