How does the Pipolino work?

As your animal rolls the Pipolino along the ground, his dry food drops out of the Pipolino’s holes. Your pet may use it for several hours a day, indoors or outdoors, without becoming bored. Place it on the ground, on a flat, smooth surface, or, for equines, in a container with a diameter greater than 40cm.

Generally, after a few days’ use, your pet will feel at ease with the Pipolino.

Pipolino: instructions of use

Step 1: fill the Pipolino with dry food

Remove the lid (unwinding motion) to open the Pipolino and place your animal’s usual portion of kibbles or other dry foodstuff inside. Then replace and tighten the lid.

Step 2: place the Pipolino close to a wall

Once it is full, place the Pipolino on the ground, level with a wall.

Spread a few kibbles between the Pipolino and the wall to attract your animal’s interest, and then leave your pet to discover the Pipolino by himself.

Once the learning stage is over, it is no longer necessary to place the Pipolino close to a wall.

When using for the first time, leave all of the Pipolino’s holes open.

Step 3: leave your animal to roll the Pipolino by himself

Let your pet get to know his new dry food dispenser.

Do not roll the Pipolino yourself, otherwise your pet will be inclined to think that it’s your job to roll it. Also, try not to watch your pet when around the Pipolino, which could cause unnecessary stress.

As soon as your pet has got used to the Pipolino, keep refilling it and gradually reduce the number of open holes.
